PRACTICAL INFO

Our number one objective is to show you what a great sport Kitesurfiing is and to get you to as good

a level as possible during your course.

We’re anyway very aware that you’re with us to learn the sport safely and to enjoy yourself at the

same time.

The kites are powerful and need to be respected which is why we’re always careful not to cut

any steps during the courses. Despite this a kitesurf course is enjoyable right from the very start.

During a course we try to give you the best conditions available and so we stay flexible with the times. Often the courses start at 10am and then again at 2pm but this can vary from day to day and we keep you informed about this.

The courses take place in a lagoon at La Plame just close to La Franqui, from the beach "Les Coussoulles" at La Franqui or sometimes at St Cyprien depending on the wind conditions.

With the best will in the World sometimes the wind conditions aren't good so to be fair to everyone we count the number of hours that you've really had on a course and you pay accordingly no wind - no course - nothing to pay!

An FFVL licence which gives a third party insurance is obligatory and can be taken in the shop on the first day of your course. You need to have a medical certificate for this. There are several different versions available either a licence valid 2 days which costs 6€, a licence valid 6 days which costs 10€ or one valid until the end of the year which costs 25€.

The minimum age is 9 years old and for those under 16 a written authorisation from the parents is required.
